A Water Level Controller is an automatic system that monitors and controls the water levels in your overhead tank and underground sump. It automatically turns ON the pump when water is low and turns it OFF when the tank is full, ensuring consistent water supply without overflow or dry run.

Install it in a dry, well-ventilated area, near the motor pump switch/starter location.

Avoid damp or outdoor areas exposed to sunlight or rain. Mount it at a height convenient for monitoring and maintenance.

You’ll need:

• Controller unit
• 2 console screws
• 4 float sensors (NO type, 2m)
• Flat-head screwdriver

• Tank Sensors: Place at around 25% (low level) and 90% (high level) of tank capacity.
• Sump Sensors: Place just above the sump’s foot valve with a 2–10 inch gap between them. Secure all sensors using tape and connect wires as per the provided wiring diagram.

Installation should always be done by a qualified electrician to ensure safety and correct wiring.

 The controller uses Magnetic Float Sensors to detect water levels accurately in both the overhead tank and the underground sump.

The sensors are made of PP (Polypropylene), which is durable, non-corrosive, and suitable for long-term contact with water.

Each sensor has a current rating of 0.5A, ensuring safe and reliable signal operation for the controller.

Each sensor comes with a 2-meter wire length, which can be extended as needed using good-quality insulated copper wire.

The sensors use a Normally Open (NO) contact type. This means the circuit closes (becomes active) when the float reaches a specific water level.

The sensors can handle a maximum switching voltage of up to 100V.

No. Never connect the sensors directly to the 240V AC mains supply. They must be connected only to the controller unit, as direct connection to mains voltage may damage the sensors or cause electric shock.

• AUTO Mode: The pump turns ON automatically when the tank is low and OFF when the tank is full.
• MANUAL Mode: Lets you manually switch the pump ON or OFF. The pump will continue running until you turn it OFF manually.
• OFF Mode: Completely powers off the device.

• POWER LED: Device is powered ON.
• MOTOR ON LED: Pump is currently running.
• TANK LOW LED: Water level in the overhead tank is low.
• SUMP LOW LED: Water level in the underground sump is low.
• AUTO MODE LED: Device is in automatic mode.
• MANUAL MODE LED: Device is in manual mode.

• Motor turns ON: If water level above Underground Sump Sensors + Overhead Tank water level below the BS sensor then.
• Motor turns OFF: If the water level in Overhead Tank is above TS Sensor or if water level in UndergroundSump is below the sensors.

• Ensure the POWER LED is glowing (device is receiving supply).
• Check that the sump has enough water and the tank is below the BS Sensor.
• Verify all sensor and power connections are secure.

• Check if the tank’s high-level sensor is correctly placed and functional.
• Ensure there are no loose or broken wires.
• Confirm the device is set to AUTO mode.

• Check the 230V AC power supply to the controller.
• Verify fuse or MCB status in your power line.

• Make sure the switch is set to MANUAL mode.
• Ensure power and motor connections are correct and the pump is operational.

• Always turn OFF the main power before installation or maintenance.
• Ensure correct wiring of phase and neutral.
• Do not expose the device to water or extreme heat.
• Installation must be done only by a qualified electrician.

One controller can manage one motor and one tank system (with or without sump).For multi-tank or multi-motor setups, separate controllers are recommended for accurate control.

Yes, the controller works with all common water sources such as borewell, municipal, or tank water, as long as the sensors are properly submerged and securely installed.

Note: Do not use the controller or sensors in contaminated, chemical, or wastewater, as this may cause sensor damage or inaccurate operation.
